So tell us, how did you meet the love of your life?

We met while working at Jimmy John’s in his hometown. For me it was love at first sight, and had to put in the work to flirt with Jonathon to get him to realize I was interested in him. I finally got the courage to ask him out to dinner.
When did you know they were the one?

I knew he was the one not long into dating, he was so caring, kind to others and doesn’t have a bad bone in his body.
Tell us the story of the proposal!

We were on my dream vacation snowboarding in Switzerland. I had showed him a hotel and mountain I wanted to go to and he made it happen. We were about halfway done with our day of snowboarding at Laax, we sat looking out into the valley watching paragliders and had a snowball fight. He then sat next to me and asked me to be his wife. We had giant celebratory beers and kept riding.

How long was your engagement? What went into deciding your wedding's date and location?

We were engaged for about 15 months, as we knew we wanted a winter wedding. We decided on Glacier National Park, because once we saw it we fell in love. You can’t beat the picture perfect views of Lake McDonald, surrounded by snow.
How would you describe your personal style? What was most important to you when you were planning your bridal look?

I would say unique and boho, non traditional when it comes to wedding style. I didn’t want sparkle, or frills. Knew I wanted long sleeves and lace, because I love the texture.

How did you find Wear Your Love?

I was watching an IG story of a friend who is a photographer and WYL was tagged in a styled shoot. I then went down a rabbit hole.
When did you know you had found your perfect dress?

I never really was on the hunt for my dress, as we hadn’t even set a date when I came across WYL. I just started looking at them all and when I came to the Veda I fell in love. I loved the two different lace patterns, the shape of the train was so unique, and loved how simple yet different the dress was.

Which dress did you choose, and did you request any custom aspects?

I went with the Veda! No custom requests, it was perfect as is.

What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep and you tried on your dress for the first time?

At first I was nervous I wasn’t going to love it, as it was perfect on the models and I don’t have the same body. I also couldn’t wait to try it on because of how much I loved and looked forward to it being my perfect dress. Once I tried it on it was exactly what I wanted, it was the most comfortable dress I’ve ever worn. The train was so stunning.

Did your wedding have a theme or style?

We kept it simple as we had to travel for the wedding. With Glacier we didn’t need any decorations, we also didn’t have a bridal party. Just us on the rocky beach on the first day of spring surrounded by close friends and family. It was so nice not having much to be stressed about, everything just fell into place.

How involved was your partner in the wedding planning? Did your families help? Did you hire a coordinator, planner, or event stylist?

Jonathon was as involved as I asked him to be. We split the duties of booking the big things. It wasn’t a full on reception after just dinner and drinks so that took a lot of stress and planning away.

Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of your venue, and why did you choose it for your special day?

We got married at Glacier National Park, and had our reception at Casey’s Whitefish

Tell us about your wedding playlist! What song did you walk down the aisle to? Did you have a first dance song that was meaningful to you?

I didn’t even walk down the aisle, we both made our way to a spot with our fiend who married us. I did hire. Cellist and violist as a surprise to Jonathon at our reception and they played “An Evening I Will Not Forget” by Dermot Kennedy.

What was your favorite moment of the day?

All of it was so much fun and went so perfectly. I loved our first look, and seeing his reaction to the dress as I had him convinced I was wearing a short dress. I also loved going for a walk around the town that night and sitting on a bench together taking in the entire day.

Who was involved in your special day? We would love to shout out your photographer, favorite vendors, and anyone else who made your day magical.

Do you have any advice or helpful tips for others planning a wedding?

Make it what you want it, don’t think you need all the extra things because they don’t really matter. Simple is best!

What has been the best part so far about being married?

Knowing I truly have a best friend who has my back, and adventure partner for life.
