So tell us, how did you meet the love of your life?
We met in 9th grade and we used to hate each other! We had mutual friends and by the time college came around we quickly warmed up to each other!
When did you know they were the one?
We've been there for each other through everything for 10 years now! We've shared so many lows and highs and our love has only grown stronger.
Tell us the story of the proposal!
He proposed to me at a Griz show in Denver!
How long was your engagement? What went into deciding your wedding's date and location?
We were engaged for 2.5 years. We chose September in the mountains in Colorado because the we LOVE Colorado!
How would you describe your personal style? What was most important to you when you were planning your bridal look?
I like to dress comfortably! It was important that I could put my dress in a backpack and hike with it.
How did you find Wear Your Love?
I found them on the internet!
When did you know you had found your perfect dress?
I knew the first time I looked at your dress collection that I was going to buy from wearyourlove!!!
Which dress did you choose, and did you request any custom aspects?
I chose Ari with no customs.
What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep and you tried on your dress for the first time?
I was hoping and praying that it fit and that I loved it as much on my body as I did online! I put it on and I was so happy! It made me feel so feminine and beautiful!
Did your wedding have a theme or style?
Not really, we eloped in the mountains! We backpacked to an alpine lake with our photographer and hair/makeup stylist.
How involved was your partner in the wedding planning? Did your families help? Did you hire a coordinator, planner, or event stylist?
I pretty much planned everything. My photographer, Sean was SO helpful. We hired him first and he sent over a list of vendors in Colorado who I could find! Everyone I hired was from his recommendation!

Tell us about your wedding playlist! What song did you walk down the aisle to? Did you have a first dance song that was meaningful to you?
After our hike, we went to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheater that evening! The artist was Griz, and Ryan proposed to me at a Griz show in Denver a couple of years ago. The last song he played was the song that played WHEN HE PROPOSED!! It was the most magical day. The song: It Gets Better - Griz
What was your favorite moment of the day?
The day itself was challenging. We woke up and started hiking at 2:30 am with our photographer and hair/makeup artist. Even though we've spent time long distance backpacking (on the east coast), this particular hike was a huge challenge (THE ALTITUDE)!! The hardest hike we’ve ever done. It was worth every second though for the amazing and breathtaking views. Doing the hike together was awesome.

Do you have any advice or helpful tips for others planning a wedding?
Now that I'm not planning anymore, I feel glad that I planned everything myself.
What has been the best part so far about being married?
Being family with the love of my life! We've been together for 10 years and lived together 7 years but being married has already deepened our connection!
