How did you meet the love of your life?

Tinder. Trevor asked me to go snowshoeing & told me he was originally from the midwest also. His midwest charm won me over and I agreed to a date.

When did you know that this person had stolen your heart?

I think I knew pretty quickly. We went on a lot of dates right away and the feeling of complete comfort we had with each other and how much fun we had together, there was no denying we stole each other's hearts.

Tell us the story of the proposal.

I had just graduated PA school. To celebrate, Trevor took me on a one month trip through Vietnam & Cambodia. We spent 3 or 4 days on this beautiful boat cruising Bai Tu Long and Halong bay. The last night we went to the top deck to watch the sunset. He set up the go pro to "take a picture," he then knelt down and proposed. Obviously, I said yes, and the rest of the night was spent celebrating with the rest of the guests & crew on the boat in the middle of paradise. It was absolutely magical!! <3

How long was your engagement? What went into the decision about date and location?

Our engagement was a little over 2 years. I was just getting out of school when he proposed, so we needed time to save money. We picked the summer of 2020 for adequate time and also so we could get married on a horse ranch outside of Jackson, WY. Jackson is special to us as it was one of the first vacations we took together. It is our favorite place to travel in the summer and winter. We typically go twice per year. NOTHING can beat the Tetons!

How would you describe your personal style?  What were the most important factors for you as you considered how you wanted your bridal look to manifest?

I personally love boho, lace, and the look of effortless beauty.

How did you find Wear Your Love?

I found a photo on Pinterest of the very dress that I ordered. I also hired a photographer (Koryn Rice) who recommended your dresses.

When did you know you had found your perfect dress?

I looked forever and ever online. When I finally found the Keira dress on Pinterest I was sold. It was the most beautiful dress I had seen. It was the perfect cut, it had everything I was looking for. The lace was absolutely gorgeous.

What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep, and you pulled out your dress for the first time?

I was ecstatic. It felt like the wedding was finally real. I couldn't wait to try it on.

What is the name of the dress, and did you request any custom aspects?

Keira. No custom aspects

What was your wedding theme or style?

boho/rustic

How involved was your love in the planning? Did your families help with planning? Did you hire a co-ordinator, planner, or event stylist?

Trevor helped with most of the logistics, but I took care of most of the planning/decor. We did have a day of coordinator that was an absolute life saver. She helped set up and take down along with give me advice on local vendors.

Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of the wedding venue you chose and why did you choose it for your special day?

Diamond Cross Ranch We chose them because they had the MOST beautiful property! They have an amazing view of the Tetons, especially at sunset, they have horses on site that they let free after you say "I do." And they even let you take pictures with the horses. They were so easy and flexible to work with (even with COVID date changes). We couldn't have been more pleased with our venue.

What was on your wedding soundtrack playlist, aisle, reception, and first dance?

Wedding Party aisle song- Follow the Sun by Xavier Rudd My aisle song- Wildflowers by Trampled by Turtles Recessional- Jackson by June and Johnny Cash First Dance- Dancing in the Moonlight by King Harvest

What was your favorite moment of the day?

It is a tie between Trevor and I's first look & the father daughter dance. Two of my favorite men! <3

Who was involved in your special day? We'd love to shout out to all your favorite vendors! Add all social media information, so each person gets the credit they deserve.

Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for anyone planning a wedding?

If you are doing it alone, it is all about being organized. Have budgets down, have a payment schedule, pay things as you go. Don't go into debt for a wedding.

Now that you can look back with 20/20 hindsight, was there anything you'd do differently?

With all of the COVID drama, I likely would have eloped instead. BUT I do not regret anything. It was the BEST day of our lives.

What's your favorite thing about being married so far?

I feel we both work harder at our relationship and have made it a point to be sure we are communicating well and looking out for each other. I feel like we are officially on a team facing the world together. Its an amazing feeling.
