So tell us, how did you meet the love of your life?

We met at work!

Was there a moment you knew they were the one? Tell us how they won your heart.

I knew Cass was the one when he went to help my parents take down their Christmas lights before he had even met them. He is thoughtful and caring and goes out of his way for the people he loves.

Tell us the story of the proposal ❤️

We love escape rooms.. so Cassidy planned an escape room with our best friends and he put the engagement ring in the very last clue. It was SO cool!

What is the name of your dress? Did you have any customizations?

Lennox 3.0, without the chiffon ruffle

What was most important to you when choosing your wedding dress?

I wanted to feel comfortable! I needed to be able to sit, stand, move, dance, and hug people! I hated almost every single wedding dress because they were either itchy, stiff, heavy, or simply uncomfortable. The Lennox was a total game changer!!

What aspects of your wedding were most important to you when you were planning?

We wanted a smaller wedding somewhere meaningful, so we decided to have it in our backyard with our favorite people. We wrote our own vows and chose unique music to us that brought us joy. We were both so excited for the champagne truck! Having a smaller wedding was nice because we got to repeatedly see people throughout the day and enjoy several moments with everyone and each other. It was perfect for us.

Did your wedding have a theme or a specific style?

Our style was organic and outdoorsy, laid back and not too fancy!

What advice do you wish you could go back and give to yourself when you were in the early stages of planning?

If it doesn’t bring you joy - scrap it !!!!

Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of your venue, and why did you choose it for your special day?

This was our private property in our backyard. The house was built in 1812 and is very special to us.

What was your favorite moment of the day?

So many to choose from, but my favorite moment was simply walking in the woods with Cass. Being in nature just the two of us felt really peaceful. Oh and of course our first smooch after our vows!

How did you feel spending the day in your wedding dress?

Simply. The. BEST!! Every moment spent in my dress was perfect. I danced, jumped, hugged, moved, picked up my nieces, played around, drank, ate… everything was so comfortable and I wasn’t distracted once with the dress. Every single guest commented on how beautiful and comfortable my dress looked. It was light and flowy and still very unique. I wouldn’t have changed a single thing.
