So tell us, how did you meet the love of your life?
We met through a friend our sophomore year of high school! We’ve been together almost 9 years now.
When did you know they were the one?
I knew almost immediately. He was genuine, FUN, and made me feel so special.
Tell us the story of the proposal!
He came to Ohio on Christmas Eve (where my family lives) and proposed with a light up “Marry Me” sign. He knew Christmas is my favorite and that family is really important to me so it was so special.
How long was your engagement? What went into deciding your wedding's date and location?
Tricky question but it was about a year for our first ceremony (thanks covid) then another year for our second (where I wore the Bree!)
How would you describe your personal style? What was most important to you when you were planning your bridal look?
I had a classic white for my first ceremony and I have always wanted a lacy spaghetti strap gown so when I was given the opportunity to have another wedding I knew this was the perfect dress for me!
How did you find Wear Your Love?
A lot of online searching after my first wedding!
When did you know you had found your perfect dress?
I knew I wanted this style and had seen it multiple times. I love it!!
Which dress did you choose, and did you request any custom aspects?
What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep and you tried on your dress for the first time?
I was SO nervous to try it on because I thought there was NO WAY it would fit since I did my own measurements. It fit like a glove!!!!
Did your wedding have a theme or style?
Boho and floral.
How involved was your partner in the wedding planning? Did your families help? Did you hire a coordinator, planner, or event stylist?
I had a wedding coordinator who helped tremendously.
Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of your venue, and why did you choose it for your special day?
The springs event venue in Wallisville. I knew it was the one the second I walked in.
Tell us about your wedding playlist! What song did you walk down the aisle to? Did you have a first dance song that was meaningful to you?
Walked down to instrumental “thousand years”. First dance was when I said I do.
What was your favorite moment of the day?
My favorite moment of the day was saying our own vows. We didn’t get to do this at the first ceremony so it was really special hearing what he had to say.
