How did you meet the love of your life?

I met the love of my life while I was on active duty at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. We worked together and became really good friends before we decided to date. After one year, we decided to take a leap of faith, and ever since then, it's been absolutely amazing. I found my best friend and the love of my life.

When did you know that this person had stolen your heart?

Before we dated, he came over to my place to hang out. While we were discussing what we had to do for work the next day, he stopped me, look into my eyes and said, "I have a feeling you're going to be someone very special to me." My heart melted that night.

Tell us about the proposal?

My husband and I decided to meet my parents in Panama and explore the country together. On the third day, we decided to do a coffee tour in a beautiful town called Boquete. We learned how the coffee was processed from the bean to coffee grounds. At the end of the tour, we had the chance to make and drink our own coffee. After several shots of espresso, we decided to go up a hill and take a picture with the mountains behinds us. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Second best day of my life apart from my wedding day!!

Explain to us how you found Wear Your Love?

I only had three months of planning before the big day so the stress was real. I found this website on Instagram and ran into the 2nd love of my life, the Julie Dress. I WAS IN LOVE. I knew at that moment it was meant to be.

When did you know you had found your perfect dress?

As I was searching on Wear Your Love Instagram page, there was another beautiful bride wearing the Julie Dress. I saw it, and it felt like it was perfect for me. I knew I had to get my hands on this dress.

What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep, and you pulled out your dress for the first time?

I was so worried that I wouldn't be home in time for the delivery that I decided to pick it up myself at the USPS. When I held the box in my hands, my heart began to beat super fast. I sped home and opened the box immediately. IT WAS LIKE FALLING IN LOVE AGAIN. The dress was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

What was your wedding theme or style?

Spring Bohemian.

Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of the wedding venue you chose and why did you choose them for your special day?

I decided to do an elopement style wedding. So after the ceremony, we ate in a 4-star restaurant called the Red Stag. This restaurant is located inside the Bohemian hotel in Asheville, NC.

What was on your wedding soundtrack playlist, aisle, reception, and first dance?

Since we didn't have the "typical" venue setting, we decided to do our wedding dance in private. Our wedding song is called Grow Old with You.

Tell us your favorite moment from your wedding?

My favorite moment was hearing our vows. We both got so emotional!

Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for anyone planning a wedding?

DONT STRESS ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS! In the end, the most important thing is your love and commitment to one another. Everything else is second.
