So tell us, how did you meet the love of your life?

We met at work 7 years ago!! Even though we went to the same school, we didn't meet until years later!

When did you know they were the one?

After 2 years of great friendship, Chris asked me out and the rest is history!

Tell us the story of the proposal!

We went to snowdonia in our campervan. We walked around our favourite lake Llyn Idwal then had a bbq. Chris pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him. I still had bbq sauce round my mouth! But of course said yes!!

How long was your engagement? What went into deciding your wedding's date and location?

It was supposed to be a short engagement but like a lot of other couples it turned into a long engagement! After a couple of postponements, we got married in the same area as we got engaged. We love Snowdonia national park and as soon as we saw the venue we knew! It was a barn with the most gorgeous backdrop. October was a must for us because we love that autumn vibe and it's not too cold!

How would you describe your personal style?  What was most important to you when you were planning your bridal look?

We wanted to go for a rock n roll kind of vibe with relaxed bohemian styling. Autumn colours and pumpkins were a must and of course a red lip!!

How did you find Wear Your Love?

Instagram! I just fell in love with all the dresses and brides.

When did you know you had found your perfect dress?

When I saw the pictures I just knew that was me to a tee! I was worried about ordering to the UK and online! When I won the competition I just knew it was a sign, I was meant to have that dress!

Which dress did you choose, and did you request any custom aspects?

Cleo <3 It was perfect just the way it was!

What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep and you tried on your dress for the first time?

Wow, this fits like a glove and is just me all over!

Did your wedding have a theme or style?

Yes, it was a rock n roll autumn themed wedding. Mismatched bridesmaids in velvet and tulle, burnt oranges, yellows and greens! Toffee apples, marshmallows, candles everywhere, firepits and sparklers!

How involved was your partner in the wedding planning? Did your families help? Did you hire a coordinator, planner, or event stylist?

Chris did get involved, he helped order the cake, sort the legal parts for getting married and sorted the band. He had input on everything! We didn't hire a stylist we did everything ourselves - taking 3 days dying table runners and napkins, filling friends' cars to the brim with pumpkins, and collecting brass candle sticks over 3 years! Our venue was a weekend gig and let us go down with family and friends to dress the venue the day before!

Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of your venue, and why did you choose it for your special day?

Hafod Farm. It was a gorgeous venue in snowdonia national park run by a lovely family. They were super chill which we loved! They didn't know the word 'no'. Nothing was out of the question! Jo the owner had put a LOT of effort into the decor and it would have looked amazing even if we didn't bring anything! Everything you saw was included! It was an old barn with a stunning courtyard and newer barn with huge windows overlooking the forests. The cottage accommodation on site was super handy for our guests and the cocktails were UNREAL!!!!

Tell us about your wedding playlist! What song did you walk down the aisle to? Did you have a first dance song that was meaningful to you?

The playlists were a big deal for us. We wanted to make sure music was playing non stop for our guests! We got the crowd worked up with the good, the bad and the ugly theme tune. Metallica come on to this song so if it's good enough for them it's good enough for us! Then as the bridesmaids started walking down the aisle we played wild horses by the Rolling Stones. When we kissed we had just like heaven by The Cure. The first dance song was chosen by Chris - into the mystic by Van Morrison.

What was your favorite moment of the day?

When I walked down the aisle and saw Chris crying, in that moment the room was empty and it was just us and I'd never felt love like it!

Who was involved in your special day? We would love to shout out your photographer, favorite vendors, and anyone else who made your day magical.

The light painters were our photographers - @hannah_lightpainter The Costa sisters were our videographers - @thecostasisters My make up was @allthingsface_ My hair was @leanneliepinshair Flowers were @ivypipandrose Food was @big5catering and @pizza_peddlers And venue @hafodfarm

Do you have any advice or helpful tips for others planning a wedding?

Just try not to stress over little things! Have fun let yourself enjoy the day no matter what! It will really show in your photos if your having a good time!

What has been the best part so far about being married?

Being able to look at eachother and call one another husband and wifey!
