We met at work six years ago. Kind of got to really know each other when his mother invited me to Thanksgiving two years ago.
He took us to Lincoln on Christmas Eve where we had our first date and proposed to me where we had taken one of our first photos together.
I went to a few bridal stores, and they just were NOT my style... they were heavy and too much for my taste. I started to google white maxi dresses and looked for months and months. One day I was on Pinterest and came across the Zoey 2.0 dress and when I went to the website I just couldn’t stop staring at the Veda dress!!!! So amazing and beautiful!
I literally was staring at it every day, and every other dress I looked at just didn’t have that wow factor the Veda dress had!
I couldn’t believe that it came so fast! The dress was LIGHT! When I put it on I just cried happy tears!!! It was soooo perfect!
We eloped to the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park. We didn’t really have a theme and that was ok for us because the mountains were perfect!
We used the simply eloped team, where we met up on the day of our wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park. Jess and Austin did such an amazing job with a ceremony perfect for our personalities and a photo shoot!
Our song of choice would be “I do” by Kyle Jacobs
Our first look and we wrote our own vows!
Matt and I had planned our elopement from the cabin to the spot we were married! My sister Amy wright did our hair and helped with makeup because she’s a cosmetologist. Matt’s mom Rhonda was a huge help with photos of the guys and keeping us all on time. My son Gauge and Matt’s dad Bryan were also present to keep all our nerves at bay with the laughter they bring!!

Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for anyone planning a wedding?
Don’t stress on the small stuff because at the end of the day you’re still going to be married, and that moment when you say I do, you’ll realize that it’s a special moment for the two of you and it’s the commitment and love you share that makes you two who you are.
5 out of 5 stars.
May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy for you two.
The entire time, I kept thinking "Please work, please work!" The fabric was incredibly soft right when I pulled it out, so I knew it would be comfortable. When I put it on, I saw that it was unlike any of the other dresses I had tried on in the bridal shops. It was exactly what I was looking for and hadn't been able to find anywhere else.
I was so anxious to pull it out and finally put it on but decided to wait until I visited my family so my mother, father, and sister could see me in it for the first time.
Pure joy and excitement! It felt so soft and luxurious, and the lace detail was so intricate and beautiful. Of course, I was nervous it might not fit, but it was absolutely perfect! No alterations needed, which is pretty extraordinary for a wedding dress.
