How did you meet the love of your life?
A mutual friend set us up and we are so grateful she did!
When did you know that this person had stolen your heart?
Sounds cliche, but honestly it was right from the beginning. Blake just felt like home from day one. I remember before we were even dating pulling up to his driveway, getting out of the car, running up to him and being SO stoked to see each other every single time, even if it had only been a day or so. We each personally had gone through a lot to get to where we are today, so we were just so happy to have found each other.
Tell us about the proposal?
We went on a 4-wheeler ride up in the mountains. I was getting over a cold and thought to myself "there's no way he would propose to me today since I'm sick.." but sure enough he surprised me!
Explain to us how you found Wear Your Love?
I am the pickiest person on the planet so I searched and searched and searched, and felt like I could never find anything I liked! Once my photographer told me about Wear Your Love I looked it up and not only loved their dress selection but I also loved what their dresses were all about!
When did you know you had found your perfect dress?
I was scrolling through the website and I instantly knew when I saw the Starla! It was exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable, flowy, unique but still classy and timeless.
What went through your mind when the Wear Your Love box arrived at your doorstep, and you pulled out your dress for the first time?
I wanted to cry. It was everything I was looking for in a wedding dress! The quality of the lace was amazing. It was so soft, not cheap-feeling and scratchy. I put it on and was amazed at how perfectly it fit my body. I loved that there were no tight seams, wires, etc., I had never tried on a dress more comfortable and flowy and just straight-up gorgeous! It was perfect for our Maui wedding.
What was your wedding theme or style?
Maui Intimate Elopement. Just the two of us! It was so romantic and special. Then we came home and had a celebration with our closest friends and family!
Let's show your wedding venue some love! What is the name of the wedding venue you chose and why did you choose them for your special day?
Paradise! No venue needed. Just the beautiful Maui beaches and mountains!
What was on your wedding soundtrack playlist, aisle, reception, and first dance?
Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran, All This Time by One Republic, Our Time by Percy Falls, just to name a few!
Tell us your favorite moment from your wedding?
Kissing my "husband" for the first time!

Do you have any advice or words of wisdom for anyone planning a wedding?
Just soak it all in!! Try not to waste time stressing. Don't worry about pleasing other people. It's your day! Make it exactly what YOU want it to be, and you won't have regrets!
